And Now for Something Completely Different...
Sorry I went a little deep there. I will go a little bit lighter today. Good Friday is tomorrow so no school and no work! Yeah! I need the rest.
March Madness continues tonight with the Sweet 16. OSU has the late game 9 pm or so following the Illinois/Wisconsin-Milwaukee game. Arizona is a tough team and OSU has struggled in their 2 wins of the tourney. OSU has to step it up to get past the Wild Cats. Hopefully for the Pokes, they will be more like Mild Kittens but I doubt it. Expectations are high for the Cowboys since they return 4 of the 5 starters in last years Final Four team. Jameson Curry was a great addition to that lineup. I am glad to see 2 Big XII teams still alive in the Sweet 16.
My brackets are shot. I have 9 teams still alive on my sheet but only 2 of my Final Four teams are still alive which are UNC and Illinois. The good thing about that is I still have them meeting in the NC game.
I bought tickets for the annual Red and White Scrimmage in Norman on April 16th. Trey is very excited about going to see OU play. My dad is going too, I hope. That will be fun to have the 3 of us go. Trey and I want to go down early to catch the pregame stuff and all of the NCAA Experience booths. Trey wants to get some autographs too. I forgot to bring a camera last year and I could have taken some pictures of the Heisman Trophy because Jason White had it on display.
Spring is here and so are the storms. I am actually ready for some warmer weather. I got my haircut last night and it is really short on the back. I have not had the back of my head cut short in 6 months or more. I have been freezing cold since last night.
It is defiantly a fun time of year. Get out and enjoy it.
