Monday Night Football Change!! Say It Ain't So!!

Posted at 22:01 in Sports.

Rumors abound about Monday Night Football changing channels. ESPN has stated that MNF will be moving from ABC to ESPN and the ESPN regular Sunday night game will be moving to NBC. No word about who will be broadcasting the games.

Please don't let the normal ESPN crew do the MNF game!! That is why I never watched the ESPN game.

For the full story check ESPN

RaNée, it looks like you will have to endup getting cable or dish now.

I really don't care too much for NBC, I am going to hate to see Monday Night Football change from ABC to ESPN. It has been on ABC for 35 years. I wish Fox would get Monday Night Football!

OH NO!!!!!! I hadn't heard this....looks like I will have to fork over some $$$ to watch football this year. Now the question is do I go all out and get the NFL package so I can see all the Tampa games or just go with regular cable/satellite and not see any Tampa games?

I had decided not to get cable/satellite so I could support my new favorite pasttime...shoe shopping! But looks like this fall I have to decide between shoes and footbal!! I'll probably go with the football...so I have a lot of shoe shopping to do between now and August!

Okay wait! Football vs. Shoe Shopping?

I think the NFL package comes free if all you want to do is watch Tampa Bay. I think they even give you money to watch the Bucs.

If you buy the NFL package also get a projector so you can watch football on a screen measured in feet instead of inches! That would be too cool to see The Big Tuna standing on your wall 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide! I would come over to watch that!

First, remember I am a girl!

HAHA you are so funny! There are LOTS of Tampa Bay fans! None here, but they do exist! On the way to the hospital the morning of my surgery a car passed us that had the Tampa logo on their tire cover...I took it as a good luck sign!

I won't even comment on that fat b*****d tuna!

Hey Now!

Don't hate the Tuna.

I hear you on shopping for shoes. I finally cleaned out my shoes and I think I gave away about 7 or 8 pairs of shoes. Shoes I didn't wear or arenot in style anymore. Now, I need more shoes to keep up with the latest fashion trends!

I like Tampa Bay! I like "Little Chuckie"
I hope you will be able to enjoy both pasttimes..shoe shopping and Football. The cheapest package on dish isn't that much.

Okay that is it. I will not approve any more postings about shoes on an article about sports.

Now, come on Jay...we are gilrs and when I get shoes for an outfit I usually have to buy a new purse to go with the shoes and outfit!
I like Football too, but I like shopping more! If you are in need of more shoes Wal-mart had several cute pairs for under $10
I hope Dallas does better this year because if they don't then it's going to be a long and grumpy season around the Stumpff household. I may just have to watch Football somewhere else when the Cowboys play! HA! J/K

I wear shoes (I did that just to see if I could get banned from the discussion).

Seriously, though, this is kind of sad in a nostalgic sort of way. ABC has been a staple in my household for as long as I can remember, and it would be sad to see the game move to another channel.

I'm not big on the NBC announcers, either, so unless my Broncos, Steelers or Vikings are playing on Sunday night, I'll probably skip that game.

I don't mind the ESPN broadcast, mainly because I could still watch it in High Definition.

Still and all, I wish it wouldn't leave...

The only way I could ever watch Theismann broadcast a MNF game is if L.T. stood over him the whole game growling a drooling. It's sad because ESPN Sunday night had some good games last year, but due to that worthless broadcast crew, I didn't watch them.

That is pretty darn funny Jason! I would watch that!! If Dallas is playing on a Theismann broadcast I can turn down the TV and listen to radio. That sucks because satellite is 4 1/2 seconds behind the radio so I will know what happened before the play starts. That isn't so bad on good plays but on a bad play it is like getting a paper cut and pouring lemon juice on it.

I hate Theismann!

But, hey...it's not changing until the 2006 season right?
