Shoes
There seems to be an interest in shoes on my site. So lets have it. How many shoes is too many? What is the maximum amount of shoes for men and what is the max for women? What is the point of so many shoes?
Women
Black goes with almost everything. Tradition states that women can only wear black between Labor Day and Easter.
White goes with a lot. Tradition states that women can only wear white between Easter and Labor Day.
Brown goes with anything but maybe black pants. I don't know of any other traditions than the white/black Easter and Labor Day thing.
Okay there is 3 pair. I can understand Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. That is a total of 7 pairs of shoes for women.
Guys
Dress shoes. Wear them all year round.
Tennis shoes. Wear them when you are not dressed up.
Slop/Mowing shoes. Wear them when you are mowing or going fishing.
Sandals. Wear them when sandals can be worn.
Total max 4 pair of shoes for guys.
How many more shoes can be worn? You only have 2 feet!

Well, I think the more shoes the better. There are so many neat styles and colors now.
I have 10 pair of sandles, 4 pairs of tennis shoes, and 3 pair of shoes I wear in the winter.
I don't have any white sandles just tennis shoes. I just think white is a boaring color I guess. Shoes are just like purses you have to have them match your outfit!
Men don't need that many shoes they are just happy with whatever.
That is just my observation...

Okay purses are another thing. How many is too many? I have 1 wallet and I am fine with that. It is black it goes with everything. You do not need any more than 1. Pick a black purse and stick with it. I have been told that I have a hard time making a decision. No I don't I have one wallet. It takes the guess work out for me, "Does this match?"

I think the last time I counted I have 6 purses that I use throughout the year.
There is nothing wrong with that!

You forgot light pink, hot pink, salmon, watermelon, fuschia, lavender, purple, off-white or beige, dark blue, light blue, aqua, turquoise, yellow, orange, forrest green, lime green, kelly green, maroon, red, cranberry, do I need to go on???? The number of shoes is only limited to the number of colors. Then, you aren't really limited there because there can be different styles in each color. It depends on how dressy you want...some things go with jeans and some things don't. Do you really want me to go on???

I agree...I feel you always have use for another pair of shoes. I just bought a pair last month that were multi-colored heels and I just love them!I just bought another pair the other day that are green, but they are a lighter mint green or lime green and they go with a couple of the outfits I have. You can never have too many shoes. Just the basic colors are too boaring and all of the sandles I have now do go with Jeans and skirts so I say I am doing good with that! Now, I do have one pair of shoes that right now I only have one shirt that they go with, but hey I needed some matching shoes to go with my shirt. You also forgot flowered, polka-dot, clear, and so on.... I think you don't have a clue about women and their need to have so many shoes. HA!!!! Purses are the same.. You have solids, stripes, Toile, and the list goes on and on....
You are in over your head Buddy... You better get ready...we have a daughter that is just like me and her Aunt when it comes to being a fashion Diva and her love for clothes, shoes, make-up and just everything girl! She is only 6 and she already is picking out her own clothes.
It will be so much fun!!!

Hey..now you can stock up on those cute summer Sandles. Almost everyone is having a sale on Summer stuff now! I bought Christi her first pair of heels at Wal-mart on sale!
Now I wonder what the styles will be for this Fall/Winter. I can't believe they are already starting to put early Fall stuff out.
