Glenn Beck
Glenn talked today about the movie "Failure to Launch". This movie is about someone still living with their parents at the age of 34. I can't say that if I was without a wife and kids then I probably would have been living with my parents some time recently knowing my finances of recent. Now that I have a family I can't think of ever living with my parents or hers for that matter unless something tragic happens of course.
One caller talked about living on his own and that he was always "Jim and Sally's kid" so when he moved to a town away from his parents he became his own person. He made a name for himself. I have relied on my family for everything. I have always taken advantage of them being close. I know Dianne is the same way. Her family has bailed us out of many different tight spots. I thank all of them for their help. We wouldn't have made it without them. I love all of them dearly.
Now that I am thinking about moving to Ponca City that will give me a chance to be my own person. I will be living on an island without family close. I will be about 70 miles away from everyone. Well 45 miles away from Crystal and Daniel, my brother-in-law & sister-in-law but 70 from everyone else. I won't have anyone close to watch the kids for us to go out or the "can you watch the kids for about a half hour while we..." That will be hard to deal with. It will definitely make us grow up even more than we are now. I welcome the opportunity.
