It's Done but not Over
Trey's surgery only lasted about an hour and a half. We spent the majority of the time in recovery. We've moved to his room. If you are coming to visit we are in 754.
He's been sick. While writting this he has thrown up. Yuck! It smelled
The doctor took a little piece of bone from his left hip to put in his mouth. His hip is very sore. He is complaining that his whole leg hurts. As long as he is sleeping he is fine. I am worried about 4 to 8 hours from now when all the original pain meds from the surgery have worn off and he begins to feel everything.
There is a little girl across the hall that is getting an IV taken out right now. You'd think that she is getting her leg sawed off by a dull butter knife. Oh no more cookie tossing. Okay I think I am fine. Yes I am okay and the IV is out. Whew! I hope they go home tonight. If not wait until I start snoring! That will get them back.
The good and bad thing about right now is that I have time to ramble on my blog. Why bad? Did you read all of this?
