Trey's Progress
It has been a couple days. Sorry for no quick update over the weekend. It was busy.
I have downloaded all the photos from the surgery. You can view them by clicking here. I have to warn you. Some of the pictures are quite gross, I'm in them.
He is doing good. He is starting to walk by himself some today. I stayed home one more day with him so we could work with him some more and he is starting to stretch and bend. I had him bend down to touch his shins. I don't know how much pain and I can tell how much pain he is feeling because I think he doesn't hurt enough to take the bitter tasting meds. We hope he can return to school by Thursday or Friday. He is still walking with quite a limp. That is to be expected.
Dianne and I would like to thank all of you for your nice comments, gifts, and prayers. Trey says, "I'm doing much better because everyone is praying for me."

Just want to say how much I'm thinking about you guys - all of your family - you're in my prayers and thoughts. I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well. And Trey, I can't wait to meet you someday - you are a quite inspiring little man.

Way to go Trey!! I knew he would recover pretty fast because I have seen his Sooner-park-in-front-of-the-stage workouts...non-stop exercise!
Trey, I am really glad to hear you are doing well and just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you.

Trey is doing Great! Today is his second day back to school. He is only going half-days then if he feels like it next week he will go back to fulldays. He is such a strong little boy!
When I dropped the kids off today Trey said, "Mom you don't have to walk me in I can go in by myself." With that being said I know he is doing a whole lot better!
