Results from Today's Doctor's Visit
Well it was just as I expected things to go today. I got a firm lecture from the doctor about getting off my meds and not going to see him.
Side Note: Why do doctors belittle you about not coming in sooner or because you are not doing as directed?
Anyway, I had to give about 95 gallons of blood for tests. I also get to have a EKG to test my heart valves and a prostate exam! I can't wait! The main med that treats the tumor affects the heart valve and the other med can cause prostrate cancer. Fun flippin fantastic! I get to start early having dates with my doctor to snap on a pair of latex gloves and say "you ARE going to feel a 'little' pressure".
I am starting to think that my head doesn't hurt that bad and I can go blind in my left eye. I have two of them besides when the sun shines on my left side I almost always have the eye closed anyway.
So which is worse, going blind and headaches or having a bad heart valve and prostrate cancer? It all sounds like so much fun.
More later as more news comes in about the tumor.
